Asbestos Services

Asbestos is a naturally occurring mineral that can be pulled into a fluffy consistency. Asbestos fibers are soft and flexible yet resistant to heat, electricity and corrosion. These qualities make the mineral useful, but they also make asbestos exposure highly toxic.

Cost-effective encapsulation

To protect asbestos products from possible mechanical damage where the cost of removal would far outweigh the cost of repairs and encapsulation, encapsulation of asbestos insulation using metal sheeting cut and formed to provide a close fitting skin can be used.

Additionally if the material is in good condition and in an area of little or no normal contact then specialist vapour barrier paints can be used to seal the material and prevent airborne fibres.

We use a sealer coating based upon a unique adhesive-grade resin, highly plasticised for outstanding flexibility to withstand normal movement within a building and to the components within a building and incorporating flame retardant additives. Water based, solvent free, low odour - it is safe and easy to use.
